The JCO team is a veteran group of visionary planners, talented designers and creative thinkers who take time to listen and understand each client’s needs before pencil ever hits paper. We then ground our ideas in actionable strategies that bring visionary ideas to life.
Throughout the process, we never lose sight of those who ultimately benefit most from our work. Your guests. Drawing from our team’s diverse backgrounds, different cultures and global project experience, we channel our energy and passion into opening the minds and touching the emotions of your guests in profound, memorable ways.
Jumana Brodersen, Executive Producer and CEO, has led teams that designed and produced numerous successful guest experiences in theme parks, water parks, zoos and marine mammal parks around the world.
An expert balancing the business and creative visions, her creative focus and keen attention to detail produces attractions that reinforce and expand brand impact. Her work has touched many high-profile projects for numerous park brands including SeaWorld Entertainment’s SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica; Port Aventura - Salou, Spain; Sesame Workshop; Tivoli Gardens-Copenhagen, Denmark; and the Saint Louis Zoo.
Jumana’s 25+ years of experience in themed entertainment combines a rare blend of consulting and client-side experience. In 2008, Jumana founded JCO, a themed entertainment master planning and design consulting firm. In the years prior, she served as a Corporate Director of Creative Development for Busch Entertainment Corporation (now SeaWorld Entertainment) overseeing the complete cycle of attraction development for all 10 parks, from initial ideation through construction and opening.
As team leader, she defined project scope, creative direction, and budgets; her work provided senior management the tools to facilitate decision making and attraction selection.
Jumana served on the Themed Entertainment Association’s Eastern Board in 2010 and 2011. She is a member of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and a commercial member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
She is a strong advocate for the Zoological and Entertainment industry and assists with the mission and efforts of these organizations. Born in Lebanon, Jumana is also fluent in Arabic and brings personal insight to projects JCO develops in the Middle East.
